It is signed by Jacques Braine (20th century) laureate of the Institut de France. The work represents dancers and a Russian ballet dancer. On a bluish background, the steps of the dancers and the dancer seem to illuminate the track with warm tones. This work is reminiscent of the many little rats of the Paris Opera staged by Degas.
