Claymore Kelvingrove museum, semi-scherp Pelgrimsbadges en religie Remove it and then separateThis claymore is a replica of a 17th century original that was used in the Scottish Highlands. Nowadays it is part of the collection of the Kelvingrove Museum in Glasgow. Claymore, or claidheamh mor literally means "large sword" in Gaelic. The blades of these large swords were usually made in Germany and exported to Scotland. The Claymore was especially an effective weapon against pikes. The V shaped cross guard redirects the blows of pikes.
