The print 'Two Boys - One Dream' was commissioned by a man who loved the image 'Morning Glory' so much he wanted to own the perfect canvas representing the image 'Morning Glory' nearly touched for him

This is another example of myself not having to travel very far to get a good subject for a painting

This is always easy to do as the sky can just be darkened immediately behind the cowl to draw out the contrast

I feel I caught the painting at just the right time as all the Hawthorn, Cow Parsley and Pink Campion was in full bloom, framing the mill perfectly. I personally had to climb into the top cowl to hand crank the sails into a good position, an experience I will never forget! I will surely paint it again when we get a good covering of snow,
