The original Nine Trees was inspired by seeing the super moon illuminating the trees against the night sky

Raised silver embellishes this piece where the water meets the sky

but I wanted different color schemes to match each season

Shooting Star was painted on a road map of New Mexico

I created the background sky, mountains and earth using acrylic paints and acid oxidized paints. Michele finished the piece with her lined up aspens also in acrylics. The long, thin piece "Slice of Heaven" is another in this series as well as "South Park Mountains". A raised copper bead adds dimension and a glow to this embellished reproduction. *Brian Fall
