Heavy Vapours refers to the exclusion of the Purifier (used to catch the heaviest vapours from the distillation process). Without the Purifier, the distillation includes heavier vapours than the typical Ardbeg usually does. This ensures a heavier peat presence balancing the floral fruitiness. Ardbeg claims it to be their most full blown expression with an intensity of
