Signed page from Barcarolle, one of his works (op. 30 1), inscribed to Whistling, a famous publisher from Leipzig. Carl F. Whistling (1788 1855) was a music publisher and bookseller in Leipzig, his son Friedrich Whistling (1809 1861), to whom Rubinstein inscribed this printed score, was Robert Schumanns most important publisher. A total
