Piteado hatband with Pedro Pedrini silver tip. Hardware is Hansen Western GearPiteado hatband with a Greca pattern. Pedro Pedrini sterling silver tip. 3 holes of adjustment. Made for a size 7 1 4" and down. Piteado is a very old technique of hand done embroidery that is still used mainly in Mexico. The threads on this hatband are made of pita, which is the fibers separated from the agave plant. The fibers are then cleaned, and twisted into threads. Then they are ready to be embroidered into a pattern.
