Gathering the Day Hecate Press They are made with aHome tanned fish skins, Birch bark, usnea, Felt wool, Pebble, bead, Embroidery H 11'' xW 5 1 2'' This piece is made from lake trout, burbot, pink salmon, and coho salmon that I caught and tanned myself. Knowing exactly where each fish was harvested makes the work deeply personal and rooted in place. The pebble comes from the shore of the Chilkat River in Haines, Alaska, where I often fish for Dolly Varden and salmon. The birch bark is from Dawson
