They made heavier pieces for the time, similar to newer Lodge pieces but had the custom smooth finish of a handmade skillet (unlike newer Lodge pans). Similar to Vollrath, they are very durable, transfer heat well and smoothly, and have a deep pan for volume. Perfect for stews, saut's or frying. The Mi Pet logo is a unique one, very large considering its
