Sarah was only nine years old when she created this beauty, that in itself is utterly mind boggling. The sampler is mostly symmetrical except for a few flower stems. This could be stitched either way and is a personal choice. The original model was stitched with silk on linen and measured 13. 25 by 13. 25 inches. Judging by the design and materials little Sarah grew up in an upper class home. For
