The piece has been cut into a rectangular shape with the top of the stone being left with its glossy undulating uncut surface while the sides and base have been smoothed and buffed

May contain trace amounts of Ruby

the red flashes are edged with yellow and the green are edged with blue

The piece is actually very clean to the naked eye on account of the skilled cutting and deep colour darkening the stone just enough to mask the inclusions that would normally be easily visible in a much paler stone
