Anodised Niobium Polygon Crystal Crater Brooch Drinking vessel Hallmarked at the Edinburgh AssayContemporary anodised niobium and silver brooch inspired by rocks and crystals found in nature. The centre of the brooch features a hand chased sparkling texture, representing the cracks and craters found in rocks. This was made from a flat sheet of niobium, which was anodised using electricity to create the iridescent gold and blue colours. The niobium is invisibly riveted to a silver backing.
