Possibly a unit prototype of the iconic 'Malitta' seating set. Most certainly one of the early works in the lounge foam style that connected authors in this period such as Gaetano Pesce, Michel Ducaroy, Pierre Paulin, Pierre Cardin, Verner Panton etc. Very comfortable and lightweight, made entirely from a foam structure with high quality red upholstery.
